There are many opportunities for talented researchers and scholars in our lab, please read the following and then get in touch if you are interested.
We currently have multiple openings for creative postdoctoral scholars. Area of academic background and research are flexible, however successful candidates will likely have a research plan related to one of the interests of the lab (broadly regulatory genomics, machine learning and data integration for genomic data, analysis infrastructure and usability).
We're currently looking for software engineers to participate in the development of Galaxy. Engineers working on the Galaxy project have the opportunity to be involved in cutting edge research in bioinformatics, usability, machine learning, high performance computing, and more.
We welcome enthusiastic graduate students with computational or experimental backgrounds. You must already have been admitted to a graduate program at Johns Hopkins. Sensible options are the program in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology, or Computer Science, although other arrangements may be possible.
Exceptional undergraduates interested in performing research in our lab (and willing to commit the time necessary to complete a useful research project) are encouraged to contact us.
