Enis Afgan was a postdoctoral researcher at Emory from 2009-2011. He then joined the Center for Informatics and Computing at Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI) as a Research Scientist followed by a Research Scientist position at Victorian Life Science Computation Initiative (VLSCI) of the University of Melbourne. He maintains an ongoing collaboration with both of those organizations and acts as the technical lead for the Genomics Virtual Laboratory (GVL).
